The Emergency Ban on Flavored E-Cigarettes; What’s Next?
Should you be anything like me, you don’t actually care what E-Cigarette flavors the federal government decides to make legal, only to view it make its way into the hands of everyone. I am sure there are several people who are really that concerned, and have stood up for his or her rights to choose what flavors they would like to use in their vaporizer. However, if you are a American citizen who is older than 18, you have a right to vote.
It could sound crazy but there are lots of illnesses associated with second hand smoke, including cancer, and everyone should desire to quit smoking. There are numerous toxins found in secondhand tobacco smoke that may cause lung disease, depression, anxiety, weight gain and several other negative side effects. If people start smoking, they have a tendency to inhale so much smoke that they can only have one lung after the first few cigarettes. Vaping flavors like Blueberry Blast, Fruit Colada or Grapefruit Temptations will not increase the quantity of smoke inhaled, but it will certainly increase the quantity of vapor made by the e Cigarette.
The key reason why the government has decided to place a ban on the sale of these kinds of E-Cigarettes is because they’re addictive, and smokers should not be made to feel great about themselves for smoking. They just don’t have the willpower to stop, no matter how hard they try. The flavors you can buy for your vaporizers is there to help you puff away when you are reading the paper or doing the laundry. The ban on flavors like Blueberry Blast and Fruit Colada was designed to Vape Pen curb the abuse of vaporizers and e Cigarettes around the country.
In line with the FDA, the ban on flavored e Cigarettes is here now to “give a healthy alternative for consumers who are increasingly concerned about the general public health crisis.” There were reports over the years that e Cigarettes are more addictive than traditional cigarettes. Children may also be becoming regular smokers because they do not want to miss out on each of the fun of enjoying all the new vaporizer flavors except for blueberry and cherry. The FDA has had an obvious stance in working with the new York City health department’s need to ban flavored vaporizers.
Most teens do not want to quit their cool cigarettes merely to follow the example set by the doctors in New York City. They crave the flavors of their favorite candy and chocolate and would go out of their way to purchase a common flavors. The FDA is dealing with the manufacturers of e-Cigarettes, not teens. And most teens do not want to quit cigarettes merely to follow the example set by the doctors in NEW YORK. They need the vaporizer to be free to enjoy in the comfort of their own home.
That is an emergency situation. We have been currently in the middle of a global health crisis in fact it is only going to get worse. Vaporizers have one purpose which is to make quitting smoking easy and tasty. If the FDA was to take away these tasty vaporizer flavors such as fruit, chocolate, blueberry, mint, raspberry, and lemon then we would actually be back again to square one and we would have created another problem.
Why do I believe the FDA is creating a crisis ban? Well, they must do this since they realized that flavored e-liquids are here to stay. The market is expanding at a significant rate and we can not let our consumers take over. We need them plus they need us. So, we will just regulate them and ban all flavors of cigarettes.
Now you might say; “But why do I care about lung disease?” Because vaporizing tobacco is known to cause some type of cancer. The flavoring in these e-liquids could easily enter the lungs and cause cancer as well. Now if we go back to the initial issue and ban flavored e-liquids then no-one will be smoking anymore and we wouldn’t have this issue with public health.
